Kate Marlette is a makeup artist for film and television, and a member of IATSE 798. She has experience on projects of all sizes, most recently working in the makeup department for Paramount +'s series, Wolfpack, and as department head on the upcoming film, Tapawingo. Kate has also worked in the makeup/sfx departments on The Girl From Plainville, The Walking Dead, The Walking Dead: World Beyond and Zombieland 2. Other credits include projects such as Turn: Washington's Spies and The Good Lord Bird. She also served as the department head on the feature, Mary For Mayor and the web-series, Assisted Living.

Aside from makeup, she has worked as a coordinator on several television shows and features in the art, props and costume departments. She most recently worked as a props coordinator for 6888 (Tyler Perry Studios) & MacGyver (CBS). Other art department credits include Wonder Woman 1984 & USS Christmas. Kate has also worked as a warrobe stylist on a number of commercials and photoshoots. 

 

For training, Kate completed the Master Makeup Program at Cinema Makeup School in Los Angeles. She also attended Virginia Commonwealth University's School of the Arts in Richmond, VA where she earned her BA in Film and minors in Business and Media Studies.
